Made from the number one quality of the linen fabric—one of the prettiest garments—the saree—the much-loved choice for most Indian women, it can be worn in many different ways. Saree and all its parts, body, pallu, and border, all these hand-block prints play an important role in the whole look. Block printing was introduced in the Jaipur region of Rajasthan by the Chupha community. The community was originally located in the village of Bagru, which is now famous for its Vegetable Dye and Mud Resistant (Dabu) block prints.
